- 1 lb. Breakfast Sausage
- 2 Tb. Beef Tallow
- 2 Tb. Cream Cheese
- 2 C Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1/2 Tsp. Konjac Glucomannan Powder optional
- Salt and Pepper to Taste

- Brown the sausage in the beef tallow.
- After the sausage has been cooked all the way through, add in the cream cheese and heavy whipping cream. Cook until desired thickness of the gravy.
- Salt and Pepper to taste. Enjoy!
There are a few things I have a hard time living without when doing the Ketogenic Lifestyle. Breakfast Gravy was one of those things. I know that may seem silly, but especially on these cold winter days, I just want something to warm me up on the inside! This recipe is very basic but SO GOOD! So, let’s get started!
I start by browning the sausage in beef tallow in a nice big skillet. I prefer a nice heavy cast iron skillet. But of course, use what you have.
After the sausage has been cooked all the way through, add in the cream cheese and heavy whipping cream. Cook until desired thickness of the gravy.
This is a little trick I have learned about cooking without flour. This Konjac Glucomannan Powder is awesome. It takes such a small amount and works wonderfully to thicken soups and gravies. If you wanted to thicken your gravy more you could add 1/2 tsp of Konjac Glucomannan Powder to the gravy near the end to help thicken. It is not required in this recipe, but sometimes I add a little.
Salt and Pepper to taste and enjoy. I love my gravy over 2 scrambled eggs. Some people love taking the extra step of making Keto Biscuits to go with their gravy. I prefer to keep it simple. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as our family does.
