1 lb. Chicken (I use leg quarters with the bone in and skin on)
4 Cloves Garlic, minced
1/4 C Soy Sauce
1/3 C Ketchup
1/3 C Honey
Pinch of Red Pepper Flakes
1 Tb. Apple Cider Vinegar
This recipe is a KEEPER! Tomithy and Samari LOVED this chicken. It was pretty fast and easy going together and the flavor was amazing. This is something you can get together the night before and cook it the next day. Here is how I made the Honey Garlic Chicken.
I then took the chicken and placed it in a container and poured the marinade over the top. I used leg quarters. I kept the skin on and the bone in. The skin and bones are where the flavor is. I marinated ours for 4 hours. I suggest using a fork and poking holes into the chicken that way the marinade can really penetrate the meat. From time to time, rotate your chicken so all sides of the chicken get that flavor.
When you are ready to bake the chicken, place the chicken in a foil lined baking pan that is lined with foil and lightly sprayed or greased. Pour the marinade over the top of the chicken. Bake for 45-60 minutes in a 375 degree oven. Every 15 minutes, take the time to spoon the marinade over the top of the chicken.
After the chicken is completely cooked, allow it to rests for 5 minutes. Serve it up and enjoy!
