This time of year I am always trying to find new treats and snacks to feed the masses! This dip does just that. It is hot, cheesy and full of zest! Here is how I make the Cheesy Bean Dip.
First mix the sour cream, cream cheese and taco seasoning. I use my stand mixer for this step.
Next mix the refried beans into the cream cheese mixture. Pour the mixture in a lightly greased 9 by 13 casserole dish.
Next, top with the cheese. I chose to use cheddar and a Mexican blend of cheese. The cheese you use is totally up to you. Pepper Jack and Monterrey Jack cheese would also be good! Bake, covered, in a 350 degree oven for 25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the dish is heated all the way through.
During the last 5 minutes, remove the foil to brown the cheese a bit.
