Here is another fantastic Crock- Pot recipe. This time, though, it is a dessert! The rich chocolate of this cobbler is fantastic and the espresso being added to the cobbler takes this dish above and beyond DELICIOUS!!! Here is how I made this Chocolate Cobbler in the Crock- Pot!
First start by spraying or buttering the inside of the crock pot. I love using the Coconut Oil Spray from Trader Joes. Use which ever you prefer!
In a large bowl mix the flour, baking powder, salt, 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder and 3/4 cup of sugar.
Then mix in the milk, melted butter and vanilla to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth. Pour this into the crock-pot.
In a different small bowl, combine 1/2 C sugar, the brown sugar, and cocoa powder. Sprinkle it over the top of the mixture that has been already placed in the crock pot.
Now add the espresso powder to the hot water and mix well. Then drizzle the that mixture over the top of the batter that is already in the crock pot. DO NOT MIX IN!
Cook on Low for 3-4 hours.
Let stand for 15 minutes with the lid removed.
Now it is time to enjoy this yummy cobbler. Add some Vanilla Ice Cream to the top and enjoy!
