- 2 C Cabbage chopped
- 1/2 C Red Pepper chopped
- 1/4 C Onions chopped
- 1 lb. Sausage
- 2 Tb Butter
- 1/2 C Beef Broth

- Brown the sausage and the onions together in a skillet.
- Once the sausage is MOSTLY browned, toss in the peppers and the butter and continue to cook everything together.
- When the peppers start to soften, toss in the cabbage and the beef broth. Stir everything until it is all incorporated. Cover and let the mixture cook for about 10-15 minutes. Stir occasionally.
- Once the cabbage is tender, it is time to enjoy!
This recipe is a giant bowl of YUM! The crisp taste of cabbage with the spicy flavor of the sausage. Plus the added sweetness from the pepper. It really hit the spot on a chilly day. So let’s get started on this dish!
Of course, bust out that trusty cast iron skillet. Start browning the sausage. I also saute the onions at this time as well.
