This week was full of new things and surprises. GRAPES!!! We were so excited to see grapes in our arbor. The arbor has always had grape vines but the grapes were always taken by the wildlife before anyone could harvest them. Well not this year. We have grapes and lots of them. We ended up harvesting about 12 qts of grapes into grape juice. We could have had more except we ran out of time because we were headed out of town for the up coming eclipse.
Stoney has taken up a new hobby of metal detecting. His Papa left a metal detector up at the farm for Stoney to use. And he has been having a blast finding all kinds of stuff all over the yard.
This time out, Stoney found a piece of metal. We decided it was part of a shovel. He is going to use it as a breast plate for his armor he is making.
Stoney also started home school this week. Third Grade. It is going to be a big year for him. We have been going back and forth about whether or not to homeschool him this year or not. I think big things are gonna happen this year. Things are going to be big either way. Stay tuned to see what we end up deciding to do with his education.
Samari started High School this year. She is also going to PUBLIC SCHOOL!?! She is pretty excited about this new adventure. I am praying she has a lot of fun, learns a bunch, and makes some pretty awesome memories.
Ginger had to get her snuggles in before the first day of school. She wasn’t sure what was going on, exactly, but she wasn’t sure she was gonna like it.
We are pretty excited about the things that are going to come this year. This week we have traveling and the eclipse.
