20 oz Frozen Tortellini
1 Tsp. Olive Oil
1 Tb. Butter
5 Cloves Garlic, minsed
1 C Chicken Stock
1 C Cream
1 C Asiago Cheese, shredded
2 C Chicken Breast, chopped
Pepper to Taste
Here is another fast and flavorful meal for the whole family to enjoy. I can’t say enough about this dish. Chicken, pasta, cheese?!? What more could you ask for? Here is how I make the Asiago Garlic Tortellini with Chicken!
I start by cooking the tortellini according to the directions on the package.
While the tortellini is cooking, I start making the sauce. Heat the oil and butter in a large skillet.
Then add the garlic and cook on medium low heat. Be careful not to burn your garlic.
After the garlic is tender, add the broth and cream to the skillet and bring to a boil.
Add the cheese and simmer on low. Continue stirring the sauce so it doesn’t burn. Cook until you get the consistency you are looking for. I should have cooked mine a bit longer.
Add the chicken breast and cook for 1-2 minutes.
After the tortellini is cooked, drain and then add to your cheese sauce.Serve with garlic bread and a salad or some steamed broccoli.
