Crock Pot Chicken Taco Meat

Ingredient List

6 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast

2 Tb Taco Seasoning

2 Tb Ranch Dressing Powder

14 oz. Chicken Broth

I have said it before, and I’ll say it again. I LOVE MY CROCK POT! If I can use my crock pot to make a bulk of a meal and NOT heat my house up, I will! This chicken is WONDERFUL! I call it just “Chicken Taco Meat” but the possibilities are endless. Use the meat for tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas, tostadas, as a side, in dips or whatever you feel like. It is very flavorful but does not have an over powering flavor. It also freezes well too!

First you place the chicken in the crock pot. Sprinkle the ranch dressing powder and the taco seasoning over the chicken.

Now pour the chicken broth in the crock pot as well. Turn the crock pot on low (and make sure it is plugged in. Sharing a lesson I learned the hard way) Cover and cook for 5 hours.

Once the chicken is cooked all the way, remove it from the crock pot and shred it with 2 forks. You can add some of the cooking juice to the chicken for a flavor punch or to give the chicken more moisture.

Be creative with this chicken. The possibilities are endless!
