Ingredient List
3-4 Chicken Breast
Pepper
Ranch Dressing
4-6 Strips of Bacon
4 oz. Cheddar or Colby Cheese, shredded
This recipe is FANTASTIC! The chicken is moist and flavorful. The meal goes together within 30 minutes. And everyone will enjoy it! You can’t ask for much more than that! Here is how I made the Cheesy Bacon Ranch Chicken!
I started with lining a baking sheet with foil and lightly grease it. Then pat the chicken breast dry and place them on the foil. Lightly pepper the chicken breast.
I then drizzled the chicken breast with the Ranch Dressing. You can use as much or as little as you desire for this step.
Then take your bacon strips and place them on top of your chicken. Again, you can use as much or as little bacon as desired. I used about 1 1/2 strips of bacon per breast. Place the chicken breast in a 400 degree oven and bake for about 25-35 minutes or until the chicken breast is fully cooked. But not dry…..
Remove the chicken from the oven and spoon out the extra juice from the pan. I did this step so the cheese doesn’t get soggy when it melts. After the extra juice is removed, top the chicken with the cheese. I used Cheddar cheese but I can’t imagine this dish with a bad cheese choice. Colby sounds amazing as well! OOOO! Or you can do a blend of different cheese! Place the pan back in the oven and cook for another 3-5 minutes or until the cheese is nice and melted.
Allow the chicken to cool for about 2-4 minutes and then serve it up. It works well with steamed broccoli.
