Ingredient List
1/4 C Brown Sugar
1 Tsp. Apple Pie Spice
3 Tb. Butter, melted
1/3 C Chopped Nuts, optional
1 Apple, peeled, cored and sliced
1 Can Crescent Roll Dough
This breakfast is one of those great throw together at the last minute breakfast. It is fast and fun. The kids would love to help in the kitchen for this tasty baking adventure. Here is how I made them.
First you will want to combine the brown sugar and the apple pie spice together and set aside.
Then melt your butter and toss the apples that have been prepared into the melted butter
Now take your dough and separate it into triangles on a parchment lined baking sheet or a silicone mat.
Now you take your sugar and spice combo and sprinkle some on the dough. If you are using nuts, you would sprinkle them on top of the spice layer
Now take the butter soaked apple and place them on wide end of the triangle.
Roll the apples up in the dough and fold the ends up.
Take the left over butter and brush it on top of the rolls and then sprinkle with the left over sugar.
Bake for about 7- 10 minutes at 375 degrees until they are cooked and slightly golden.
NOTE- If you wanted to drizzle with a simple glaze just take about 1 tablespoon milk, 1/4 cup of powdered sugar and a drizzle of vanilla. Mix it up! You may need to add more sugar or milk depending on your desired thickness!
