Day 2 of our 5 Days of Fudge Tour takes us to a sweet little stop in Strawberry Heaven. This is one of Samari’s favorite holiday desserts. She Loves Anything and Everything Strawberry! This recipe is easy to make if you have everything prepped and ready to go. It moves pretty fast but is still easy. He is what ya do!
First, gather all your ingredients and have them prepped and ready. You will need 2 cups white sugar, 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream, 3/4 cup unsalted REAL butter, 12 oz. white chocolate chips, 7 oz marshmallow fluff, and 1 1/2 tablespoons of strawberry gelatin powder.
Place the butter, sugar, and cream in a heavy bottom sauce pan and start melting and cooking everything together. You want the butter to be melted and the sugar to be dissolved. This will take a low heat and you will need to be attentive. You do not want to burn the sugar.
Place the marshmallow fluff in the stand mixer.
Line your casserole dish with foil and grease lightly so the fudge is easily removed when it is set.
Once the butter and sugar mixture is dissolved and melted, add the white chocolate chips. Continue to stir everything together on low heat until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth! Now pour the mixture into the stand mixer bowl that already has the marshmallow fluff in it. Mix on low for 3 minutes or until the ingredients are well incorporated.
Pour about 3/4 of the fudge into the greased pan.
Place the mixing bowl back on the stand and add the strawberry gelatin and stir for another 3 minutes.
Now that the strawberry fudge is made, add it with a spoon on top of the white fudge.
Now take a knife and gently mix the strawberry with the white fudge until it has the appearance of marble.
Let the fudge sit in the fridge for 4 hours or until the fudge has hardened. The cut to your desired size and enjoy. My favorite part about this fudge is how pretty it looks. It almost makes your not want to eat it…..ALMOST!
