Ingredient List
1 1/3 C Sour Cream
1 1/3 C Mayonase
3 Tb. Onion Flakes
3 Tb. Parsley
3 Tsp. Dill Weed
3 Tsp. Beau Monde
This appetizer has been around for as long as I can remember. It is served at all the Fall/Winter holiday gatherings. The flavor is amazing and it goes well with Rye Bread, veggies, and even with chips! Our families favorite way to enjoy this tasty dip is with the Rye Bread. I think the main reason it is at all the gatherings (other than the fact that it is AMAZING) is because it is SO FAST TO MAKE!!!
So the first thing you do is combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix them really well!
Allow the dip to sit covered in the fridge for 3 hours. This allows the dip to chill and also gives the spices and herbs time to get to know the mayo and sour cream.
Once it is chilled, serve with your bread or veggies!
Some people like to hollow out the rye bread and put the dip inside that. I find that to be a waste of rye bread, because it can make the bread soggy. But, I will admit, it does make for a great presentation.
