I am always looking for recipes for my crock pot. I love that thing! Not only is it great for throwing everything in it and forgetting it. But it is also great for not heating up the house in the summer time and also getting a great meal ready for dinner. This Chicken will not disappoint. It is tender and flavorful!
The first step is to render the fat from the bacon. Pretty simple really, you just cook the bacon until it is mostly cooked. You don’t want super crisp bacon for this recipe. While the bacon is going, now is a good time to roast the garlic if you need to. Drain the bacon on some paper towels.
Now you will take your Cream of Chicken Soup, roasted garlic, sour cream, flour and salt and pepper and mix it all together in a bowl.
Now take your thawed chicken breast and wrap 2 slices of bacon around each piece and place them in the bottom of the crock pot.
Cover the chicken breast with the soup/sour cream mixture. Place the cover on the crock pot and cook on high for 4-5 hours (depending on how thick your breast are) or 7-8 hours on low.
Once the chicken breast are cooked you can remove them and enjoy. They are so tender they fall apart.
