Ingredient List
2 Cups Semi Sweet Chocolate
1 14 oz. can Sweetened Condensed Milk
2 teaspoon Vanilla
6 oz. White Chocolate Chips
1 1/2 tablespoon Peppermint Extract
Day 3 of 5 Days of Fudge takes us to one of Tomithy’s favorite fudge recipes. Mint and Chocolate. Who doesn’t enjoy that combo? This recipe is pretty easy to make really. Prepping the ingredients is key. And, be sure to have both chocolates melting at the same time. The fudge sets up pretty fast.
In one sauce pot I combine 2 cups of semi sweet chocolate chips, 12 oz. sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla. Start melting everything together on LOW heat. Be sure to stir, so it doesn’t burn.
In a second sauce pan combine 6 oz. white chocolate chips, 2 oz of sweetened condensed milk, and 1 1/2 tablespoon of peppermint extract. Melt everything together and stir regularly.
When the 2 chocolates are melted. Pour the dark chocolate in a greased foil lined pan and then pour the white chocolate over the top. I stir them in the pan (don’t rip the foil) just enough to combine the two but also allows a marble effect through the center of the fudge.
Place the fudge in the fridge until it hardens and then cut to the desired size.
