Ingredient List
2/3 Cup Butter
2 Cups Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
2 Tablespoons Hot Water
11 oz. Milk Chocolate Chips
2 2/3 Cup Flour
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Corn Starch
1/4 teaspoon Salt
I love coming up with different types of recipes. The kids were wanting cookies. And to be honest, I was sick of making the same old Chocolate Chip Cookies. So I thought I would work on a new recipe and see how it turned out. The kiddos really enjoyed this cookie and I hope you will too!
I start by creaming together 2/3 cup of butter and 2 cups of brown sugar.
While the butter and sugar are creaming, I combine the dry ingredients in a separate bowl. 2 2/3 cup flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon corn starch, and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Now add 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons of HOT water, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla to the butter and sugar. Mix well. Then add the dry ingredients to the wet. After everything is well combined, add a 11 oz. bag of MILK CHOCOLATE CHIPS to the mixer. and gently mix.
I then place the dough onto my silicone lined cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
These cookies gave a nice spin on the typical Chocolate Chip Cookie. The kids really enjoyed them!
